It all begins with a story…
Here’s mine:
From the moment I picked up a camera, I was hooked. Capturing the world around me, telling stories through photos and videos, became my passion. Home videos were my escape, and that spark ignited a lifelong love for media production. In high school, I auditioned for the school’s two-year TV program, which wasn’t just a class but an immersive experience. It consumed two blocks of my school day, and the credits I earned counted toward both high school and college courses. I knew if I got in, it would help me decide whether this passion could turn into a career. I made it, and those two years were significant. We ran the social media accounts for the school, producing content that kept the community connected, while also creating and delivering live newscasts every single day. We each reported our own stories and learned how to run the control room. It was an amazing program at the high school level.
By the time high school ended, I was certain media was the path I wanted to follow in higher education. What followed was a college journey that seemed unconventional at the time, but in hindsight, it was exactly the path I was meant to take. I had been accepted into a school in Pennsylvania, but the pandemic made me rethink my plans. I decided to defer and attend community college instead, where most of my classes were online. The one in-person class I had was black-and-white film photography, and that class became my creative outlet during the darkest days of the pandemic. I then transferred to Bowling Green State University for my second year.
Though my journey took unexpected turns, it was full of meaningful experiences. I started my own media production LLC, Kingston Cameras, became the public relations director for Kappa Kappa Gamma, and worked in a telecommunications center where I broadcasted games to ESPN. I even graduated a year early, completing college in just three years—a time that still feels like it flew by.
After graduation, I followed my dream to move to Florida, joining a Disney Program, where I created magical moments for guests as a sales cast member in the heart of the magic inside Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. That experience gave me a renewed sense of purpose, and soon after, I was offered a full-time role as an eCommerce Video Specialist within Disney, where I currently make magic.
Now, I’m a dreamer, always imagining the endless possibilities and stories yet to unfold. Explore my portfolio and see where the journey has taken me.
